"This life-and-death issue is best decided by the states. I suspect that guns do more to deter crimes (especially against women) than they breed them. Thus I absolutely support allowing rifles and shotguns to be kept in the home. In public, where the police/judicials system is effective, I'd consider a ban on carrying guns and ammunition together."

Accordingly I would press Congress to replace income taxes on individuals with a federal sales tax and a property tax. 3% of sales, 3% of real property and 3% of vehicles should approximate $1.4 trillion. Corporate, estate, and income taxes on non-citizens who don't own property could take in another $.3 trillion."

"On deportation, Mr. Stewart knows it's a politically tall order unless there is a sea-change toward conservatism. He wants to change the tide, starting from within the largest political party, the Democrats. 'Logistically, we can deport 80% of the illegals in six months; school buses, Greyhounds, C-130s and idle cruise ships will take families to the shore they came from. It's not hard; the RINOs just lack the will'. It will take a very forceful leader to roll back 'feel-good socialism', but Mr. Stewart, an educator who has also founded and run three businesses, feels up to the task because he is armed with many prominent forceful cabinet members."
