In 2009, the House killed HB 228, a bill establishing standards for roadside memorials. 

Makeshift memorials on roadsides are illegal, although the state currently waits six months before removing them.

Repeals the New Hampshire Rail Transit Auhority (NHRTA).

Prohibits texting while driving.

Forbids cell phone use while driving, unless hands-free.

Removes all tolls in Merrimack.

Requires seat belt usage.

Decreases funding for Amtrak

Reduces appropriations to Amtrak
