Gov. Maggie Hassan will take the wraps off her proposed biennial budget during an address to the New Hampshire Legislature on Thursday, Feb. 12, beginning at 1 p.m.

The budget from the Democratic governor covers the fiscal years 2016 and 2017 and will be delivered to both a House and Senate controlled by Republicans. The budget will have two parts - an operating budget and a capital budget.

Little has come from the governor's office about what her budget priorities might be this time around. Casino gambling, commuter rail service, Medicaid expansion, funding the University System of New Hampshire, and STEM education are among the priorities that are likely to get some attention.
