New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie visits New Hampshire

News Date
Body

New Jersey Republican Gov. Chris Christie made a stop in New Hampshire yesterday, his first visit since the November 2014 election.

Christie delivered a keynote address at the Merrimack County Republican Party's annual Lincoln-Reagan dinner in Concord.

In his speech, Christie criticized New Hampshire Democratic Gov. Maggie Hassan, saying she is using her current office as a way to get herself elected to the U.S. Senate.

Christie also noted that if he were to run for President and be elected in 2016, one of his top priorities would be to "change the tax system in this country so that people and companies aren't leaving the country anymore." He plans to announce this spring whether he will run for President.
