In 2014 these LFDA issue pages had the most visits from New Hampshire:

1. Property Taxes
High property taxes are a constant struggle for New Hampshire homeowners.  Rep. Paul Henle (D-Concord) has requested a 2015 bill to establish an income tax as an alternate broad-based tax, but that proposal has almost zero chance of success in the state famous for its "no tax" pledge.

2. Gun Laws
In 2014 New Hampshire legislators debated two bills to expand background checks for firearm sales.  Neither bill passed, but Rep. Katherine Rogers (D-Concord) has requested a similar bill to expand background checks in 2015.

3. Affordable Care Act and NH
In 2014 the state legislature voted to expand Medicaid, and four more insurers joined the online health insurance exchange.  These significant changes to the New Hampshire health insurance market will play out in 2015.

4. Death Penalty
A death penalty repeal passed the House in 2014, but failed to pass the Senate after a tie vote (12-12).  Rep. Renny Cushing (D-Hampton) has requested a 2015 repeal, but the bill faces an uphill battle against the new Republican majority.

5. Common Core
The New Hampshire Board of Education voluntarily adopted the Common Core educational standards in 2010, but the opposition to Common Core really gained momentum in 2014.  Manchester rewrote the standards for its schools, and several legislators sponsored bills to stop the standards.  Expect to see similar bills in 2015.
