  • Connecting citizens with their elected officials.

What does your money do?
Financial contributions directly support our day-to-day operations such as the development of candidate profiles and our Citizen Voices program, which puts the views of NH citizens in front of elected decision-makers and media. Donations also support the development of new tools like the LFDA NH Voter Guide 2014 mobile app, which provided voters with comprehensive candidate profiles and key issue positions at the touch of their smartphone. The first of its kind in the U.S., this app is a compact version of the information provided on the LFDA website’s Prepare for Elections section, another resource developed for citizens and candidates.

Supporting real change
Created to facilitate citizen engagement, the LFDA is a "one stop shop," providing tools and resources to increase civic engagement. This means that your donation is more than an investment in abstract ideals. It is an investment that produces tangible outcomes that may be measured.

  • In the last election cycle, we provided clear, unbiased information on over 800 candidates running for office, making it available to voters at the touch of a button.
  • The LFDA has formed numerous partnerships with a variety of organizations to increase citizen engagement. Click here for a full list of our partners.
  • The LFDA also hosts a YouTube channel where viewers can see related videos about the most important topics facing citizens in NH.
  • Every day, we aggregate news stories related to politics and public policy in NH into one easy-to-browse place.
  • We review the pros and cons of over seventy issues affecting civic life in NH.

What won’t your money do
The LFDA is committed to remaining balanced and unbiased. We do not take positions on issues, endorse candidates, or stand for or against any elected official.

Financial contributions do not nor will they ever support a specific issue position, a candidate for elected office, or a political agenda of any kind.

Take action
There are many ways to take action to support the LFDA's mission and no single method is more important than another. Making a charitable donation enables us to continue to develop the tools needed to make citizen engagement eaiser.. All contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
